What a summer it's been! Not only one of the hottest on record, but also one of the busiest we've had. We're not sure how our boys survived in the blistering heat, but they have been hard at work on some incredible projects. Some of which can be seen below.

It was also a summer of celebrations for us with our 45th anniversary of Still Building Strong! To celebrate, we held little parties with all our teams at each site simultaneously.

September is one of our favourite times of the year, with London Design Festival. We always look forward to this new season and have picked our highlight of the festival. We have also had lots of amazing features and collaborators on our Blog, Brickwords, recently, so if you haven't checked it out already head over to
We have been working on one of the most historic and beautiful Grade II listed buildings we have ever worked on. Dating back to the early 19th century, and sitting in the heart of Chelsea, this stunning property was once owned by Michael Inchbald, and is undergoing a full refurbishment.
Another property we have been working on will be a private home in Westminster, around the corner from the Houses of Parliament. Our main task is the full refurbishment of the house including lowering the ground floor and adding an extension to create a kitchen and media room. We are putting on a new roof, but retaining the architectural features and windows of it's period. Formerly a school for young ladies, we were amazed to find a number of handwritten letters, many still in their envelopes and dating back to the 50's, behind the hall panelling.

Other properties we are currently working on include Kensington Court Gardens, Hillsleigh Road, Elmbank Gardens, Eaton Place, Brunswick Gardens and Jay Mews.

Kicking off from 15th - 23rd September, London Design Festival has so much on offer.
Every year we do a round up of all the shows, and this year we are making a beeline for PAD London.

PAD London is the internationally acclaimed fair for art and design, which is situated in Berkley Square. From the 1st - 7th October, there will be 68 leading galleries from all over Europe.
