After what feels like the longest Winter in history it is finally summertime and we couldn't be happier! Our all-weather building teams do like a bit of dry sky and sun! There's so much going on in London at this time of year so we thought we'd pick 5 of our favourite activities to do in June. We talk exclusively to Simon Burvill, co-founder of Gaze Burvill on why he recommends kitchens outdoors and we show off our favourite outdoor spaces from recent projects...
What better way to enjoy the English summertime then in the comfort of your own garden. We have worked on many properties with beautiful outdoor spaces, and these are a few of our favourites.

At the start of the Chelsea Flower Show, we spoke to Simon Burvill, co-founder of Gaze Burvill about the company's latest innovation. This year, Simon Burvill celebrates the 25th anniversary of his company, which has grown to become the leading name in outdoor furniture. Recognised for its high quality and beautifully designed pieces, the company is a first choice for interior designers and landscape gardeners, and exports to clients worldwide.

A designer and craftsman, Simon brings in prime sustainable oak, to create curved steam-bent benches and chairs, which are made in their workshops in Hampshire. In addition to their traditional ranges, Gaze Burvill also make the sleek and contemporary Bowline Collection in marine grade stainless steel, which has proved very successful on both land and sea!

But perhaps most exciting are their new outdoor kitchens. Boasting craftsman-made oak cabinetry and state of the art outdoor-spec appliances, this innovative collection takes summer cooking and entertaining to a new level. At The Chelsea Flower Show, Gaze Burvill, who celebrated their 'Best Trade Stand' win, were showcasing the 'Wisley Woodland Seat', a new commission for the RHS, and re-introduced 'The Court Seat', the very first Gaze Burvill design.
